It is the most Grand Cru Burgundy made exclusively with Pinot Noir. The vineyards of Chambertin and Chambertin Clos de Beze are located on clay and limestone soil. The Estate operates a total area of 0.79 ha of Chambertin (0.46 ha / 55 years) and of Chambertin Clos de Beze (0.33 ha / 34 years)
In the winetasting...Dark ruby, slightly grilled by its new barrel, impregnated with violet, this wine adds a solid robustness to exceptional delightful tannins.
Chambertin is a wine for ageing, it will keep some twenty years or more (depending on storage conditions)
Uncork the wine several hours before serve it at a temperature of fifteen-sixteen degrees.
